Born in northern Maine and shaped by the state's rich musical traditions, Travis James Humphrey has spent more than two decades becoming one of Maine's most beloved and hardworking singer-songwriters. After serving eight years as a Bandsman in the United States Air Force, Humphrey returned home in 2003 and has since crisscrossed the state, performing everywhere from Houlton to Kittery and nearly every town in between.
This special concert celebrates Home, Humphrey's latest album—a heartfelt collection of songs inspired by family, community, and the landscapes that define Maine. Recorded with legendary Maine producer Bob Colwell, Home is an intimate and deeply personal work, featuring sounds created almost entirely by Travis on his cherished 1959 Gibson J-45, a family heirloom passed down from his parents.
A gifted storyteller and accomplished guitarist, Humphrey has shared stages with artists including B.B. King, Ricky Skaggs, Roy Clark, Blackberry Smoke, Bill Kirchen, and many more. Whether performing for a packed theater or a small-town gathering, he brings authenticity, humor, and a genuine love for the people and places that inspire his music.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of Americana, roots music, and Maine stories from one of the state's finest musical ambassadors.
