Mike Maurice is a Maine-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Biddeford who crafts a rich sonic landscape of soulful, earthy textures and reflective undertones. Widely regarded as one of Maine’s most compelling live performers, Mike brings heart, grit, and undeniable musicianship to every stage. Blending Americana soul with driving rock rhythms and soaring hooks, he creates music that feels both intimate and anthemic.
His performances are emotionally charged and unforgettable. Influenced by the expressive playing of John Mayer and the evocative songwriting of Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, and Gregory Alan Isakov, Mike’s latest album, Apartment Secrets, explores love, loss, and the quiet inner dialogue many experienced during the isolation of the pandemic.
Mike has performed on stages up and down the East Coast, including The State Theatre, Port City Music Hall, One Longfellow Square, Blue, Boston’s Wilbur Theatre, the Triad Theater in NYC, and countless beloved clubs and listening rooms - each show drawing audiences closer through shared experience and song.
Whether leading a full band through a soaring anthem or captivating a room with just an acoustic guitar and his unmistakable voice, Mike connects instantly. His songs are deeply personal yet universally felt - filled with honest storytelling and melodies that linger long after the lights come up.
From intimate theaters to packed outdoor festivals, Mike Maurice doesn’t just play shows, he creates moments. Expect energy. Expect depth. Expect to leave wanting more.

Old Tom & The Lookouts have performed at notable venues such as Club Passim (Cambridge, MA), Music Hall Lounge (Portsmouth, NH), City Winery (Philadelphia, PA), Sleepwalk (Brooklyn, NY), and Skylark Lounge (Denver, CO). Their previous release, Just For Beasts (2021), co-created with violinist and vocalist Cecilia Vacanti, was praised by critics as “hauntingly beautiful” by Lunar Sonar and “essential listening” by Music Mecca. With Northeastern (2024), the band takes a bold step forward, embracing a more rock-driven sound while staying true to their emotionally charged roots.
Indie Pulse Music called Northeastern, "upbeat, tonally deliberate, and lyrically poignant." While Cage Riot called it, "an absolute triumph of sound, storytelling, and emotion." Taking this all in, the band considers this their best work yet and can't wait to play it for all you wonderful people!
