With a career spanning more than three decades, Joan Kennedy is one of Canada’s most celebrated singer-songwriters — a performer whose voice, heart, and authenticity have captivated audiences across Canada, the United States, and Europe. From humble beginnings singing around her family’s kitchen table as the youngest of eight children, Joan’s journey took off after winning a Canadian National Talent Contest in the early ’80s — launching a remarkable professional career that continues to inspire today.

A recording artist with six major-label albums, Joan became one of Canadian Country Music Radio’s most-played artists — second only to Garth Brooks — and has earned multiple honors including Juno Award nominations, CCMA awards, and East Coast Music Association Entertainer of the Year. She is also a proud member of the New Brunswick Music Hall of Fame.
